mason Jars- many uses

Donna's SNS party feature this week is mason jars, I have long been a fan of collecting vintage jars and canning with new ones as well, so I am a bit over run with jars to be honest. Often I use them in mantle displays, I love the blue ones best.

 Always the perfect flower vase.......

I use them all over in the bathrooms too, here one with an old insulator on top, stores cotton pads and q-tips.

Below the same items stored in different jars

Just as they are or storage of combs, scissors and accessories.

The kitchen mix of old and new, decorative and canned goods.

Don't you just love the look of the oldies though......

storing beans and other dry goods

This is some of my uses for jars

I love your mason jars. I have some but not as much as you do. Will be using them or iced tea this summer too!

I too am a real fan of the blue canning jars.

I presume you know that the Ball jars are made in Muncie, Indiana - - - which was 45 minutes away from our Indiana home! That is how Ball State University got its name. The hospital in Muncie is also called Ball Memorial.

Now you know - - -

Lovely!! I really enjoyed this tour! And that little pantry in the kitchen is AMAZING. Really took me back in time. Thanks for the lovely eye candy!

Love Mason jars...maybe they remind us of a simpler time? And they're just so useful, too! You have some great ideas for putting them to use.

I have a dozen of the blue jars with zinc lids sitting in our basement. After we moved last year, I wasn't sure what to do with them all. You have given me some great ideas.

I use mason jars but you have given me many new ideas for using some of the jars stored downstairs in our storage room. I always enjoy your pictures of your home. I plan to use a few as vases tomorrow at our ladies fellowship at church.
