A little change......you know when winter won't end...and your house won't stay clean and you feel you need a little change.
All you can do....
is decorate!
After our daughter's wedding we are trying - oops, sorry had to laugh at the we.
I am trying to incorporate some pieces I accumulated into new decor.
My husband...he is not interested.
That is why when I worked on this display without his help, it fell on my head and gave me a goose bump. I sprung a vein in my finger- I know- somehow I did something that made a big blue vein pop out and get very sore in the joint of my finger.
I found the door on sale at a resale home store where proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity. A great deal at 7.50-
I placed half of the original wall display right on top of the door, leaving a similar feel to the room but just a tad different.
Here is the photo display we made for the wedding
and here is one door now.

The door is wonderful and your vignette is fabulous. Love your scales. Thanks for joining Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty
Awesome door! I love the scales and the basket of flowers.
I'd love it if you would share this at "What We Accomplished Wednesday," at Green Willow Pond. It is live right now. Have a great week!

I love old doors! So much fun to decorate with. I like the shelf and your decor on it. Looks great!!
Shannon I think it looks wonderful! My goodness girl you sure banged yourself up there but alas I can relate. My husband isnt into decorating the house either. I think you did an amazing job!
It is amazing what you can do with such simple things when you have the talent. Nicely done.
I loved the doors when you created the photo booth, but using this one alone with the vintage display is brilliantly arranged. I still cannot get over how inexpensive the door was.
Shannon!! Absolutely adore this!! Thanks so much for sharing this charming piece!!
Hugs,
Deb
What a neat door and a great display! Glad you are all right :) Thank you for sharing this at Rustic Restorations Weekend.
The door looks fantastic! Love the gorgeous vignette that you created. Thanks for sharing it with us. Now I just need to find myself a door!
Hugs,
Patti
Love your door vignettes!
Shannon, love your door and the vintage scales! Who knew decorating could be so dangersous? lol! Actually, one time when I was changing out my mantel I had a large window fall on my head. I had to hollar at hubby to come save me. It also knocked off a pot with a pumpkin in it and the crash sent him running in to see me holding up a big window and yelling, 'help'! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann

Great display! I have a few doors and can't decide if I want to use them indoors or out. So many decisions and so little time. LOL! Thank you kindly for boot scootin’ on over to the Old Time Party!
