Oh No! One of my tea cups fell onto the ....yes, carpet?? and broke
Can you believe it broke, exactly in half?
What to do??
Paint a frame~ paint the glass with 5 or 6 coats of chalkboard paint.
Glue on the tea cup.
Serve a little tea.... what fun to write the "tea" being served on this little board so everyone will know! Now. what if your tea cup doesn't break in half?? Do you think you could score it with a glass cutter and break it ? Let me know if you try it.
Check out Prior's party or BNOTP.

All sorts of silly metaphors come to mind! Glad to see you have "glass is half full" attitude! Very cute and creative!
Well, that was a happy accident! That looks great and very whimsical!
Cool!! Great idea! Fantastic that you just didn't toss it!
Love this idea -- so clever!
That is the cutest and I would love to try that. I remember this the next time I break something.
Hi Shannon! It is so nice to stop by and visit with you. The broken tea cup project turned out so well! I have perused all three of your blogs and enjoyed each one!

This is brilliant! I would never have thought to do something like this. I will remember to do this next time someone breaks a cup....happens quite a lot around here!
Best wishes,
Natasha.
You are so clever! I love the tea cup it is just precious. I am an herbal tea drinker and love tea parties, I think I will have to try scoring one of my cups and copy your darling idea.
Thanks for dropping by. Please come back soon.

Cute! I've seen on a blog where they use a wet saw to cut cups in half. I borrowed my brother's saw but haven't got 'round to trying it yet. I'm glad you didn't just throw it away!!
That is so very cuute!
Adorable! 3D art at it's best. :)
