Chalked pots and Spray Paint

 I got this wall hanging at a sale a couple years ago, and the pots as a gift...they went together perfectly and hung on the wall for quite a while...I guess I wanted a change, more towards the industrial chic!!
 I painted them in a dull silver metal with light touches of bronze

 added a little chalk board paint

 and there ya go.

I had also tired of the bright gold shiny light fixture in the kitchen, you can see why.
So I gave it a couple coats of white spray paint and a couple coats of polyurethane to help it blend a little.

 Parties I am joining with this project are;

Metamorphosis Monday @BNOTP
Not Bad Sundays @ Lamb Around
Make it for Monday@Cottage Instincts
White Wednesday@ Faded Charm

blessings and thanks for visiting

I prefer the light now that it is less shiny. It tones well.

Love the pots, what a great idea. They are so cute with the chalkboard paint. Great wall hanging. The chandelier looks perfect painted white. Great job. Hugs, Marty

I really like the pots, they are a nice accent piece. And the light fixture cam e out great. I'm not a fan on brass fixtures either, so I would have done the same thing.

Isn't chalkboard paint the greatest! Awsome industrial look with the metal and chalkboard redo.

I'm going to have to buy some of that chalkboard paint! There are so many great ideas on where to use it! I'm loving the pots and the light fixture looks 100% better with the white!
