Upcycled Snowmen

A while back we rescued a partial table from the roadside, it must have fallen off a vehicle because it was broken and scattered. It had been a two tiered table and the leg dividers were charming enough to save.
A bit of paint and embellishment turned them into snowmen candle holders.
what they looked like before

Staying in the snowman theme, we had some crib parts left over. This would work with any spindle, but these were from older cribs that had solid backs we had removed the boards for benches and now it was time to re-purpose the left overs!

White latex paint and some high gloss black did the trick. I used wood buttons painted orange for the noses and added buttons, keys and fabric for the finish.

I am getting ready for a small venue show only 4 days before Christmas, not sure how it will go, either lots of last minute shoppers or I am preparing for next year.....
It is a little hard to gauge what anyone will be looking for so close to the holiday.

I am loving the mini trees in vintage Ball jars and Hobby Lobby light bulbs. For the bulbs with such small openings, I had to remove the tree bases and drop in some hot glue, hold the tree piece in place until the glue set up.
I also love the way the sunlight is dancing in the glass, it has been awfully cold here, even for us but at least there has been some sun!
blessings and thanks for visiting

What a talented and creative person you are. I would never have dreamed of this. It is amazing what you can do if you have the smarts. Great job.

Your lightbulbs with trees are super cute. They would be great for reflecting light here, might brighten up the room as the skies are quite gray lately. Did your show go well?
