Do you wear an apron when you cook?
Often I do. I love them I think they remind me of a time gone by. I thought I would show you some of my aprons.
Modeled by my lovely daughter Larisa on the right and our lovely friend Anna!
Larisa is in a vintage one pocket, with a loop neck.
Anna has on a monogrammed apron made with vintage look fabric, made by my step mom Rachel. The S is for Shannon..... or sassy I forget!
Both of these are also made by Rachel, aren't they the cutest things! Both the girls and the aprons.
This is a store bought regular ole apron but with great monogramming. (also done by Rachel)
You see being a Southern Belles With Northern Roots I have to blend cultures, the Uff da is a Norwegian saying comparable to Oh MY or OH NO, or Heaven's to Betsy....even oh Please!
Mississippi Belle
This handsome young man is my son Stephan, we saved the manly aprons for him. hmmm manly aprons....is that an oxymoron?
Some roosters and a seafood gumbo recipe! Get cookin y'all!
I would love to hear about your favorite apron you wear, please leave a comment and stop by North Dakota kitchen for a tour of my kitchen and some great recipes to whip up!~

I love aprons too! I have about 6 of them. I REALLY want a half apron but haven't had any luck in the stores. :( I've seen some on etsy and ebay but I've never dealt with anything like that before and am unsure.
Anyhow, this fall/winter, I am going to be doing some work in my kitchen. New counter top, fresh paint job etc. I really want to find a way to display my apron when they are not being used.
Love seeing your favourite aprons! And your kids (and friend).
((Hugs))

Cute aprons!
Great aprons
That sure looks like a FL Gator on Stephen's apron!
I just love aprons~ my favorite is one my mother wore 50 years ago when I was a young girl! I use it now when I bake!
I feel "not quite ready" to cook without an apron. But, of course, I don't cook much so I don't need much of a supply.
Addendum: Loved your Shady Lady picture for the sorority challenge! Very cute indeed!
I love your aprons and what pretty little models you have! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
How cute! My teenaged girls were wearing aprons while cooking yesterday--but mine aren't nearly as cute as yours. I really like the embroidery idea.
What fun aprons! Love them -- I always wear an old man's shirt when I cook ----so I won't mess up my cute aprons (stupid I know!) Thanks for your sweet visit.
I love your apron collection. What a great variety you have! Lovely models too! I am not a seamstress but my friend is so she and I whip up aprons sometime. I do the leg work and she sews! I like all your different blogs. Hugs Anne
